Continuous Variable Transmission
Chief SI's Integration Reference of CVT Dynamometer
Chief SI was committed to design this mechanical system for testing the relevant characteristics on the Continuous Variable Transmission (CVT). There are two motors. One is a drive shaft in the front, responsible for the simulation of engine motive power. The other is also a shaft behind the drive shaft to absorb the motive power and responsible for the simulation of loading resistance. This CVT is connected between the drive shaft and the other shaft. It is easy to acquire the data of important features from the transmission of motive power through measuring the torque of front shaft and the back shaft, as well as the changes in rotational speed.
In addition, in response to complete demands on whole system test for our customer, Chief SI specially customized many subsystems, such as the measurement of the temperature on the CVT surface, the measurement of the radius of drive belt transmission, and the measurement of drive belt tension. We also put the monitoring functions to control the whole system when the abnormal status is detected, such as the changes in power, torque, and rotational speed and the detection of the shelter opened.
Chief SI provides you an overall solution from the mechanical modules, measuring systems, to secure monitor.
